Hannah Wills

Biography

Born
in Glastonbury, Hannah started her singing career at home around the piano with
her father, who is also accompanying her today. At the age of eight, she
started having singing lessons with Viola Nagel before gaining a place to be a
chorister at Wells Cathedral (2008-2011), following which her singing
experiences included time as a Wells Cathedral School Big Band jazz singer
(2012-2013).

After
gaining singing scholarships at Wells Cathedral and Millfield Schools she has
continued to study with various teachers including Isobel Buchanan, and her
current teacher Alicia Carroll. Following her Grade 8 ABRSM she took an
Advanced Certificate, and is now studying for further diplomas.

Hannah
has helped with a variety of local outreach music projects and assisted various
charity events as well as organising a WW1 Centenary Charity concert at
Millfield in aid of SSAFA.

As a
Cathedral Chorister and a current member of the National Youth Choir of Great
Britain, Hannah has performed at the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Opera House,
The Royal Festival Hall, Barcelona Cathedral together with numerous venues in
China and Hong Kong during a tour in 2016.

As she
completes her studies and in her final degree year at Norland College, she is
looking to combine her professional work as a Norland Nanny and her passion for
children and their care, with her love of music.

Always
retaining local Somerset roots, she is aiming initially to work in London later
in 2018 after graduation and is now exploring higher studies at one of the
London Music Academies alongside professional childcare.
